CDMA Core Network Engineer

1. Description: We are looking for a WSS/MGW/MSC commissioning and integration engineer to join our deployment team. He or she will be a key contributor on a multi-functional team of Commissioning, Integration, and operational support for customer. Who he or she has hands-on experienced with CDMA/LTE/WiMAX. Responsible for upgrading software package, Firmware for WSS/MGW system of LTE/CDMA core networks and also responsible for isolate operation issue and analyzing fault and statistic. Travel to the customer and field locations will occur as necessary to perform job functions.

2.. Job Details

- Integration & Commissioning WSS/MGW/MSC- CDMA/LTE system

- Integration & Commissioning EMS servers and RAID system

- Verify performance, troubleshooting and analyzing system issues include SW/HW

- Interpretation of equipment logs and performance reports to identify system degradation to aid with fault isolation

- On-Site or Remote support for customer to establish wireless core network system

- Applying/backup software package for WSS/MGW/EMS system

- Assist Wireless Technicians and vendors with restoration activities when service impairments occur.

- Management of SW and Firmware version

Candidate Requirement

- 5+ years in Commissioning, Integration and Maintenance Experience of Wireless system such as MSC/WSS/MGW in CDMA/WiMAX/LTE

- Hands on experience with CDMA/LTE MSC/WSS/MGW System

- Strong knowledge of RTP, MEGACO, IS41 and MAP protocol

- Strong knowledge of core system connectivity with HLR/AAA/PDSN/AN_AAA/STP

- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating System

- Strong troubleshooting skills

- Strong knowledge of and the ability to solve complex issues in the areas of:

- Good documentation skills

- Excellent oral & written communications skills

- Performance Management (System KPIs and metrics, etc.)

- CCNA/CCNP network certificate plus

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computing/Electrical Engineering

- Able to work hands on with the equipment in the vendor and customer’s location
