[오늘의 생활영어] take it up with (someone); (누구와) 얘기해야지
(Terry is talking to Jim at work…)(테리가 직장에서 짐과 이야기를 나눈다…)
Terry: Jim do you have a minute?
Jim: Sure what is it?
Terry: The lock on my file cabinet in my room is broken.
Jim: Really?
Terry: Yes. Can you fix it?
Jim: You have to take it up with Mr. Lee. He takes care of all repairs in the school.
Terry: And all the electrical outlets in my classroom are down.
Jim: You can't get any electricity from the outlets?
Terry: No. So I can't use the CD player or the television in my classes.
Jim: I'll give him a buzz right now. I think he's in his office.
