[오늘의 생활영어] take pride in (someone or something); ~를 자랑스럽게 여기다

(Henry sees his old friend George at a gas station … )

Henry: George how are you?

George: Hi Henry I'm fine. How are you?

Henry: I'm good. How's your family?

George: Everyone is good. My wife went back to school to get her degree.

Henry: Really? That's great.

George: My kids are doing great in school too.

Henry: Terrific.

George: I take pride in my kids.

Henry: That's wonderful.

George: And how's by you?

Henry: My wife and I will celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary next week.

George: Congratulations! What are you going to do?
