[오늘의 생활영어] be as hungry as a bear; 몹시 배고프다

Sam home from work is talking to his roommate Joe…

Sam: It‘s good to be home.

Joe: How was work today?

Sam: I had a long day. I’m glad it‘s over.

Joe: What happened?

Sam: We had a blackout at the office. I lost two reports on my computer.

Joe: I heard about the blackout on TV.

Sam: It was on TV?

샘: TV에 나왔어?

Joe: Yeah. They said that a lot of the downtown area had electrical problems.

Sam: I’m as hungry as a bear.

Joe: There‘s plenty of food in the refrigerator.
