[오늘의 생활영어] go all out; 전력을 다하다

Amy and Lois are having lunch.

Amy: You look different. Is that a new blouse?

Lois: I just got my hair cut. Do you think it's too short?

Amy: No it looks terrific.

Lois: You're just saying that.

Amy: No I'm not. It looks good on you.

Lois: I hope so. I want to get the attention of a new guy at work.

Amy: That shouldn't be a problem.

Lois: I bought some nice clothes too.

Amy: He must be special. You're going all out.

Lois: I think he is. I'll tell you what happens.
