[오늘의 생활영어] (something) is just around the corner; (무엇이) 거의 다 됐다

Brian is talking to his friend, Doug.

Brian: Your birthday is just around the corner.

Doug: Don't remind me.

Brian: You're getting up there, my friend.

Doug: Age is just a number.

Brian: Yes, but you have a lot of numbers.

Doug: So do you.

Brian: Not as much as you do.

Doug: Okay, okay. Put a lid on it.

Brian: I'll take you out to dinner for your birthday.

Doug: I'm going to pick a very expensive restaurant.
