(Roger is talking to his English students in class…)

Roger: We're nearing the end of Chapter 9. We're almost finished with it.

Liza: Will we go on to Chapter 10 tomorrow?

Roger: Yes.

Chris: Our test is coming up isn't it?

Roger: Yes it is in four weeks.

Max: What do we have to study for the test?

Roger: The test will cover Chapters 7 8

and 9.

Liza: So Chapter 10 will not be on the test?

Roger: No it won't. We will continue with Chapter 10 but it won't be on the test.

Chris: That's good news.

*go on: 계속하다.

“After you get to the stop sign go on and my house is the second one on the right.”

*(something) is coming up: (무엇이) 다가오다.

“My vacation is coming up soon.”

*(something) will cover (something):

“This class will cover American history from the 1800s to the 1900s.”
