[오늘의 생활영어] get to the point; 요점만 말해
(Amy is talking to her sister Erin…)(에이미가 동생 에린과 이야기를 한다…)
Amy: This is our first business lunch and I'm paying for it.
Erin: Our first business lunch? You lost me.
Amy: Last night I saw a woman selling her homemade jellies and jams.
Erin: Please get to the point.
Amy: We can do the same thing.
Erin: Do you want to sell that woman's homemade jelly?
Amy: Don't be silly. Remember how popular Mom's barbecue sauce has always been?
Erin: Yeah. She always wanted to start her own business.
Amy: I'm sure we have what it takes to sell it for her.
Erin: I like your idea. We can carry out her dream.
