[오늘의 생활영어] (one) is out of ideas; 아이디어가 없어

(Margaret is talking to her husband Ed about their daughter…)

Margaret: Lisa's birthday is in three weeks.

Ed: I know. She turns twenty-one.

Margaret: What are we going to do?

Ed: We've had so many different kinds of birthday parties for her over the years.

Margaret: I'm out of ideas.

Ed: Maybe we should just let her invite her friends and have the kind of party she wants.

Margaret: I think that's a good idea.

Ed: Let's ask her what kind of food she would like.

Margaret: Okay.

Ed: Wow! She's twenty-one already. Time files.
