(친구 둘이 샤핑을 하면서…)

Maria: Where's the store clerk?

머리아: 가게 점원 어디 있어?

Ellen: I don't know. It's taking her too long to wait on us.

엘런: 몰라. 손님한테 서비스하러 오는데 너무 오래 걸린다.

Maria: I don't like the service in this store. I feel like leaving.

머리아: 이가게 서비스 맘에 안들어. 나갈까 봐.

Ellen: Don't do that. How many dresses have you tried on?

엘런: 그러지마. 옷 몇 벌이나 입어봤지?

Maria: Oh I don't know…maybe eight.

머리아: 아 몰라…여덟 벌 되나.

Ellen: Well after all that time and effort you should buy something don't you think?

엘런: 있잖아 그렇게 시간과 정성을 들였는데 뭔가 사야 되지 않아 안 그래?

Maria: I don't know. I'm so upset that I need to take a walk outside in the fresh air.

머리아: 몰라. 기분이 너무 안 좋아서 밖에 나가 찬 공기 좀 쐬면서 좀 걸어야겠어.

Ellen: Maria you should think about it. That dress is beautiful and the price is terrific. You should think it over.

엘런: 머리아 생각을 좀 해봐. 저 옷 예쁘잖아. 값도 너무 싸고. 다시 생각해봐.

Maria: I guess a few more minutes won't make a difference.

머리아: 조금 더 생각한다고 달라지는 게 없을 것 같아.

Ellen: Good. The clerk should be here soon.

엘런: 좋아. 점원이 곧 올 거니까 빨리 가자.
