리스: 바람이 정말 거세지네.

Kent: Maybe we should go for a walk later.

켄트: 산책은 나중에 가야할 것 같은데.

Reese: It can't be that bad. Let's go for it.

리스: 그렇게 심한 건 아니야. 산책하자.

Kent: I think we should wait until it dies down.

켄트: 바람이 잠잠할 때까지 기다려야 할 것 같아.

Reese: What are we going to do until then?

리스: 그 때까지 우리 뭐할 건데?

Kent: The weather channel said the wind would be gone by this afternoon.

켄트: 실시간 날씨정보 채널에서 그러는데 오후면 바람이 잠잠해진대.

Reese: I won't be in the mood this afternoon.

리스: 오후엔 산책한 기분이 안 들 것 같아.

Kent: Then I'll walk by myself.

켄트: 그럼 나 혼자 산책할 거야.

*(something) picks up: (무엇이) 강해지거나 빨라지다.

"When the economy picks up we'll buy a new car."

(우린 경제가 좋아지면 새 차를 살 거야.)

*go for it: 해 봐.

"If you think you can get a master's degree you should go for it."

(박사 학위를 받을 수 있다고 생각하면 해 봐야지.)

*(something) dies down: 수그러들다. (picks up의 반대말)

"The noise died down so I can hear you now."

(소음이 주니까 이제 네 말이 들린다.)
