[오늘의 생활영어] run over by a freight train; 온 몸이 쑤시다

Sam is talking to his doctor.

Doctor: Hi Sam. Tell me how you're feeling.

Sam: Horrible! I caught a cold a few days ago and now it's getting worse. I feel like I've been run over by a freight train.

Doctor: Let me listen to your chest. Take a deep breath and exhale. Inhale…exhale.

Sam: Hear anything interesting down there?

Doctor: You have some congestion in your lungs. Have you been coughing stuff up?

Sam: little but not much.

Doctor: We need to get that loosened up. Here's a prescription.

Sam: What's it for?

Doctor: It will help loosen your chest and calm your cough. Take it every four hours.

Sam: Okay. I'll do whatever you tell me.

*loosen up (something) 또는 loosen (something) up: (무엇) 완화시키다.
