(Clay is in the garage building a bookcase when Vicky enters … )

Vicky: Hi dad. What are you doing?

Clay: I'm building a bookcase for the den.

Vicky: Could you help me with my algebra homework please?

Clay: In a little while. I'm busy right now.

Vicky: I can bring my homework out here.

Clay: I've got to concentrate on what I'm doing. I can't let my mind wander.

Vicky: Okay. Do you need any help?

Clay: No thanks. I think I can handle it by myself.

Vicky: Where did you learn to build stuff?

Clay: My father taught me some things and trial and error taught me the rest.

* in a little while: 조금 있다가

"I'll be finished with the computer in a little while."

"When my mind wanders I make mistakes."

"I don't think she handled the pressure very well."
