Lee: Mr. Parker it's Friday and we want to have a party in class right now.

리: 파커 선생님. 금요일인데 지금 교실에서 파티를 했으면 좋겠어요.

Mr. Parker: You don't want to study today?

파커 선생님: 오늘 공부 안 하고 싶어?

Young: Well we can practice our English while we munch on food.

영: 있잖아요 음식 먹으면서 영어 연습해도 되잖아요.

Kim: What are we going to get to eat?

김: 음식은 어떤 거로 할까?

Jeong: The coffee shop downstairs has lots of snacks.

정: 아래층 커피샵에 간식거리 많아.

Suzuki: They have all kinds of chips and cookies and soda.

스즈키: 과자하고 쿠키 음료수가 종류별로 다 있어.

Mr. Parker: Who is going to pay for all this?

파커 선생님: 이거 다 사는데 돈은 누가 낼 건데.

Lee: We will. Everybody will chip in.

리: 저희가 내죠. 모두 조금씩 낼 거에요.

Young: I'm for pizza!

영: 난 피자 먹을래!

Jeong: They don't have pizza downstairs and it takes too long to be delivered.

정: 커피샵에선 피자 안 팔아. 배달은 너무 오래 걸리고.

기억할만한 표현

*munch on (something): (무엇을) 먹다.

“I munched on an apple for lunch today. I wasn‘t very hungry.” (오늘 점심으로 사과 먹었어. 배가 많이 고프지 않았거든.)

*I’m for (something): ~을 하고 싶다.

Jim: “What kind of movie do you want to see?” (짐: 무슨 영화 볼래?)

Roger: “I‘m for a comedy. I want to laugh.” (라저: 코미디 영화 보고 싶다. 웃고 싶어.)
