Bill: No. It's well passed seven. It's seven-fifty. It's almost eight.

Paul: Wow! We've been working non-stop since seven this morning.

Bill: My eyes are shot.

*(a part of one’s body) is shot: (몸의 어디가) 아프다.

“My knees are shot from running for so long.” (오래 달렸더니 무릎이 아파.)

*finish up: 완전히 끝내다.

“I’m going to finish up washing the dishes and then watch some TV.” (설거지를 끝내고 TV를 좀 볼 거야.)
