[오늘의 생활영어] just like you said; 이미 말씀하셨던 것처럼

(Erica is talking to Julie at work … )

Erica: So what did the doctor say about your knee?

Julie: He told me to keep heat on it and not play tennis for a while.

Erica: Did he suggest a different kind of exercise for you to do?

Julie: He told me that swimming would be good for me. Just like you said yesterday.

Erica: Isn't there a swimming pool at the new health club that just opened?

Julie: Yes, there is.

Erica: Hey, let's join it. They're having a two-for-one sale right now.

Julie: Really?

Erica: Yes. I hear they have great equipment too.

Julie: Let’s go there after work today.

“That shoe store is having a two-for-one sale this week. Let’s go.”

* I hear … : ~하다고 듣다

“I hear she’s having a baby in July.”
