[오늘의 생활영어] take a leave of absence; 휴가를 내다
(Roger is talking to David at work…)(라저가 직장에서 데이빗과 이야기를 나눈다…)
Roger: Are you okay? You don't look so hot.
David: You're right. I've been really tired lately.
Roger: Are you having trouble sleeping?
David: Yes. And I think I'm overworked.
Roger: You have been putting in a lot of hours.
David: I think I'm going to ask the boss if I can take a leave of absence.
Roger: How much time do you need?
David: I was thinking about taking two months.
Roger: Would you go anywhere?
David: No. I'll just stay home and relax and try to get my energy back.
