(Joe and Wes are talking at work … )

Joe: Did you ever get your computer fixed?

Wes: You had to bring up my computer.

Joe: Since I couldn't fix it I have been wondering if anyone came up with the solution.

Wes: Not yet. A lot of people have looked at it but no one has found the problem.

Joe: What are you going to do?

Wes: I think it's a no-brainer. I have to buy a new one.

Joe: What kind are you going to buy?

Wes: I don't know. I guess I'll have to start shopping around.

Joe: I'll go with you if you want me to.

Wes: I would love it. You know a lot more about computers than I do.

“Everyone liked the idea that I brought up.”

* come up with: (아이디어, 해답 등을) 생각해내다

“She came up with all the ideas, but I had to do all the work.”

* shop around: 물건을 고르다

“We shopped around for the best deal on a new car.”
