[오늘의 생활영어] It's (really) coming down; 폭우나 폭설이 오다
(Roger is talking to his friend Dan who lives in Seattle Washington…)(라저가 워싱턴 주 시애틀에 사는 친구 댄과 이야기를 하고 있다…)
Roger: So how's the weather today?
Dan: It's raining as usual.
Roger: That's nothing new. It always rains in Seattle.
Dan: It's really coming down right now.
Roger: What are you doing tonight?
Dan: I was going to go out and see a movie but I'll stay in tonight.
Roger: Good choice. You don't want to be out driving in that weather.

*That’s nothing new: (as usual
Jim:“Barbara locked her keys in her car again.”
Roger: “That’s nothing new. She does that a lot.”
“I have no plans this weekend. I think I’ll stay in and read.”
