Jim and Roger are talking at work.

Jim: Have you seen Terry?

Roger: No. Why? Is he late?

Jim: Yes. It's not like him to be late.

Roger: Why don't you give him a ring?

Jim: I did but he doesn't answer his phone at home and he doesn't have a cell phone.

Roger: Maybe he's stuck in traffic.

Jim: He doesn't drive. He takes the bus everywhere.

Roger: Maybe his bus came late.

Jim: That could be it.

Roger: He's sure to be here soon.
