[오늘의 생활영어] upper most in (one's) mind; ~에게 제일 중요하다, 최대 관심사다

(David is talking to Joe at work … )

David: What's the matter Joe? You look like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.

Joe: I feel like I do.

David: What gives?

Joe: My sister is having a baby any minute now.

David: Really?

Joe: Yes.

David: Is it going to be a boy or a girl?

Joe: No one knows. What's upper most in my mind is that she and the baby are healthy.

David: Of course.

Joe: I can't stop thinking about her.
