[오늘의 생활영어] feel or look like death warmed over; 아주 피곤하다, 탈진해 보인다

(Two friends are talking in Sam's apartment … )

Alice: You don't look so good. What's wrong?

Sam: My head's stuffed-up I've got a runny nose and I ache all over.

Alice: Poor guy. What are you taking for it?

Sam: Nothing. I don't have anything to take.

Alice: Let me see what I have in my apartment. In the mean time drink some juice.

Sam: Okay but please hurry.

(later … )

Alice: I'm back. How are you doing?

Sam: I feel like death warmed over.

Alice: Well, I brought some pills.

Sam: Great! I need some relief.
