Brian is talking to his brother David. (브라이언과 데이비드 형제가 이야기를 나누고 있다.)Brian: So you did it?
브라이언: 그래 샀어?
David: Yes I did.
데이비드 : 응 샀어.
Brian: You got the big screen TV.
브라이언: 대형 TV로.
David: Yes. And it cost a pretty penny too.
데이비드 : 응. 근데 가격도 대형이야.
Brian: How much did you pay for it?
브라이언: 얼마나 들었는데?
David: I'll keep that to myself.
데이비드 : 그건 비밀이야.
Brian: Come on you can tell me. How much did it run you?
브라이언: 왜 그래. 말 좀 해봐. 얼마나 줬는데?
David: Well over $1000.
데이비드 : 1000 달러 넘게.
Brian: Wow!
브라이언: 와!
David: But I did save for it.
데이비드 : 근데 돈을 모아놨다가 산거야.

*how much did it run you?: 얼마나 줬어.
"That's a beautiful sofa. How much did it run you?" (소파 예쁘네요. 얼마나 줬어요?)
*well over…: …보다 훨씬.
"It was very hot last week. It was well over 90 degrees." (지난주엔 아주 더웠어요. 90도는 족히 넘었어요.)
