[오늘의 생활영어] take days off; 며칠 쉬다

(Roger is talking to Jim at work…)

Roger: I‘m going to take two days off in March.

Jim: Oh? What days?

Roger: Friday, March 21st and Monday, March 24th.

Jim: What are you going to do?

Roger: My friend Daniel is coming into town from Seattle to visit.

Jim: You’ve known each other a long time right?

Roger: That‘s right. We’ve been friends for thirty years. We go way back.

Jim: What are you going to do when he‘s here?

Roger: Like me he loves jazz so I’m going to take him to some jazz clubs.

Jim: I hear there are some good jazz clubs in Seattle too.
