[오늘의 생활영어] little by little; 조금씩, 천천히
Matt is talking to his friend Claire.(맷이 친구 클레어와 얘기하고 있다.)
Matt: Claire, why are you limping?
Claire: I sprained my ankle.
Matt: How did you do that?
Claire: I was running in the park and I stepped in a hole.
Matt: How is it coming along?
Claire: Little by little it's getting better.
Matt: That's good.
Claire: Did you finish writing your novel yet? I want to read it.
Matt: Oh no. I'm a ways away from finishing it.
Claire: Let me know when you finish it. We'll have to celebrate.
