Allison and Stella are talking at work. (앨리슨과 스텔라가 직장에서 대화하고 있다.)



Allison: You look so angry. What happened?

앨리슨: 화난 얼굴이네. 무슨 일이야?

Stella: Nothing! I'd rather not talk about it.

스텔라: 아무 일 아니야! 말할 기분 아니야.

Allison: Come on. You need to let off some steam.

앨리슨: 그러지 말고. 화가 났으면 풀어야지.

Stella: I don't want to talk about it. It'll just make me angrier.

스텔라: 말하고 싶지 않아서 그래. 말하면 화만 더 치밀지.

Allison: That's not true. When you talk about something you can get it out of your system.

앨리슨: 그렇지 않아. 말을 하면 없어지잖아.

Stella: All right. Yesterday I took my car in for a simple tune up and it cost me $600.

스텔라: 알았어. 어제 간단한 튠업을 하려고 차를 갖고 갔더니 600달러나 내라잖아.

Allison: I'd be angry too if somebody ripped me off like that.

앨리슨: 그렇게 바가지를 씌우면 나라도 화가 났겠다.

Stella: And they were rude. They told me I should take better care of my car.

스텔라: 게다가 무례했어. 나보고 차 관리를 잘 하라는 거야.

Allison: If I were you I wouldn't go back to that place.

앨리슨: 내가 너라면 거긴 다시는 안간다.

Stella: Don't worry. I won't. And I'll tell everyone not to go there.

스텔라: 걱정마. 다신 안 갈 거야. 그리고 사람들한테 거기 가지 말라고 말할거야.

*get (something) out of your system: (부정적인 감정을) 털어내다.
