[오늘의 생활영어] far into the night ; 밤 늦도록

(Sally is talking to her roommate Helen about last night … )

Sally: What time did you get in last night?

Helen: I don't remember but it was real late.

Sally: Where did you go after the party last night?

Helen: We went to a karaoke bar.

Sally: How long were you there?

Helen: We closed the place. We sang and danced far into the night.

Sally: Well, it's 7:00 and it's a beautiful day today.

Helen: I'm not going anywhere today. I'm going to sleep in.

Sally: You are?

Helen: Yes. Wake me up in a couple of hours.
