(Karl and his wife Marla are having a discussion … )

Marla: I really want to have a party.

Karl: I don't feel up to it tonight.

Marla: I didn't mean tonight. I want a real party.

Karl: You don't mean a couple of friends over you mean a big party.

Marla: Now you're catching on.

Karl: We'll never have enough time to pull it off.

Marla: We'll have to find the time.

Karl: I think that you're telling me that I don't have a choice.

Marla: You catch on very quickly.

Karl: Okay just tell me what you want me to do.
