[오늘의 생활영어] take a chance; 모험하다

(Chris and Tina are leaving work and walking to their cars…)

Chris: Keep this under your hat. I'm quitting work in two weeks.

Tina: What? Do you have another job?

Chris: No. I'm taking a chance on starting my own business.

Tina: What kind of business?

Chris: Computer programming and consulting.

Tina: Starting your own business is a big deal.

Chris: I know. I'm in the thick of it.

Tina: Are you nervous?

Chris: A little but I believe in myself.

Tina: That's important. Well, good luck my friend.
