[JSR] Watch Online/Livestream Concerts During Quarantine!
One place offering these concerts is Youtube. This great application allows artists to start live streams and perform for their fans. The most famous online concert so far was ‘One World: Together At Home’ which was a global special organized in collaboration with Lady Gaga. Premiered on April 18, more than 70 artists recorded themselves playing music and saying positive words toward the many people around the world who may be facing difficult situations. Among these are world-famous artists Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, SuperM, and many more. The live stream may be over, but the concert is still accessible on the Youtube app.
Not only that, Cirque du Soleil, the Montreal-based entertainment company and the largest contemporary circus producer in the world, is offering free shows for everyone around the world to watch on Youtube. The performances that the acrobats of the Cirque du Soleil put out consist of very difficult juggling, trampoline work, and more. Youtube is offering several 60-minute specials of previous performances of the circus. Joo Sang Park, a father who spent time watching a Cirque du Soleil act with his two daughters said, “It was a good chance to experience a very expensive performance that would usually take place in Las Vegas, at the comfort of my own house. I had always wanted to show my children what a Cirque du Soleil act looked like, and I thought we were very privileged to be able to come together as a family to observe an amazing show of the Cirque du Soleil. I highly recommend it to other families that are at home during the quarantine.”
The continuation of quarantine can become very boring for some people, and one great way to get rid of that boredom is to spend time watching concerts from the comfort of home. Taking a look at some of these great performances that we are fortunate to have can bring great joy to you and your family.
