(코리아타운뉴스) Jobber Fashion Reaches Out to China

Chinese company C21 will expand trial businesses to 20

A greenlight has come on for the L.A. jobber market to enter the Chinese market. Chinese firm C21 Allied has decided to expand the number of trial businesses from five to 20 after it has agreed to partner with the Korean-American Manufacturers Association.

After a meeting recently, 21 Allied representatives have chosen to add 15 more Korean-American businesses for their co-project with the KAMA.

“C21 Allied has been immensely pleased with the previous five businesses—Edge Mine, Timing, NI KI BI KI and One Denim,” KAMA vice director Dae-jae Kim said. “They believe that starting importing and sales immediately could work as well. However, KAMA proposed adding 15 more brands to C21 Allied as there are even more competitive brands.”

The six officials from C21 Allied arrived on Sunday. KAMA has proposed to create a list of additional businesses wanting to enter the Chinese market. The test marketing is set to start in September, while the transaction for imported goods will be made with cash, according to Kim.

The KAMA has chosen to partner with C21 Allied to provide its members with an opportunity to create an additional source of revenue. On the Chinese side, Yingda Investment and E Star Enterprise are taking part in the project. Through the partnership, C21 Allied utilizes the store of Yingda to sell the good it has imported from the Korean-American businesses.

“C21 has decided to host a KAMA Show in the future in addition to selling the goods on JD.com and Alibaba,” Kim said.
