(Phil is talking to his neighbor Jack … )

Phil: Hey Jack why are you all dressed up?

Jack: I have a job interview today.

Phil: Really? Well good luck.

Jack: Thanks. I really hope I land this job.

Phil: I don't often see you dressed up like this.

Jack: I know. I've always had jobs where I could wear casual clothes.

Phil: And does this job have a dress code?

Jack: Yes. It's a bank.

Phil: So gone are the days of wearing jeans and t-shirts to work huh?

Jack: If I get this job I can't.

* land a or this job:

"She landed a job with an airlines."

* a dress code: 의복 규율

"That company is very conservative. They have a dress code that everyone must follow."

* gone are the days of …: ~하던 날들은 옛날 얘기가 되다

"Gone are the days of movie tickets costing a dollar. Now it's ten dollars."
