(After work Roy and Carol are driving to the supermarket…)

Roy: How was work today?

로이: 오늘 직장에서 어땠어?

Carol: Oh crazy. The boss was ranting and raving as usual.

캐럴: 아 언제나처럼 상사가 소리 지르며 화를 냈지.

Roy: He‘s always angry about something. So what’s for dinner tonight?

로이: 그 사람은 항상 뭔가 화를 내더라. 그래 오늘 저녁은 뭐야?

Carol: I‘d love to barbecue some steaks but we can’t afford it.

캐럴: 스테이크 바비큐를 좀 하고 싶은데 여유가 없어 안되겠다.

Roy: So what‘s the next best thing?

로이: 그럼 차선책은 뭐야?

Carol: How about barbecuing some hamburgers?

캐럴: 햄버거 바비큐는 어때?

Roy: That’s fine by me.

로이: 난 좋아.

Carol: Hamburgers are cheaper.

캐럴: 햄버거가 스테이크보다 싸니까.

Roy: I‘ll make some French fries.

로이: 내가 프렌치 프라이를 좀 만들게.

Carol: Hmmm I love the way you make your French fries.

캐럴: 음 당신이 만드는 프렌치 프라이는 정말 맛있어.
