[오늘의 생활영어] not have the faintest idea; 전혀 모르겠다
(Two friends are sitting down for lunch…)(친구 둘이 점심을 먹으려 앉아있다...)
Eric: It‘s beyond me why you always choose this restaurant.
Eric: It‘s beyond me why you always choose this restaurant.
Tim: It has all the qualities I need in a restaurant.
Eric: Bad food and bad service?
Tim: No! drop dead gorgeous servers.
Eric: That’s all you ever think of. When are you going to settle down?
Tim: That‘s a very good question but I don’t have the faintest idea.
Eric: I know you don‘t. I don’t know why I even care.
Tim: I don‘t either but I think we should order if we want to get back to work.
Eric: Good idea. What do you recommend?
Tim: The lunch special is usually very tasty.
