데비: 방금 딕한테서 전화왔었어.

Al: What did he want?

앨: 왜 전화했대?

Debbie: He wants you to go fishing tomorrow.

데비: 내일 같이 낚시 가고 싶대.

Al: I can’t go on the spur of the moment.

앨: 예정에 없이 갑자기 못 가지.

Debbie: I told him you would.

데비: 갈 거라고 말했는데.

Al: You‘re not serious!

앨: 진짜로 그런 거 아니지!

Debbie: Yes I am. It will do you good.

데비: 아니 진짜 그랬어. 당신한테 좋은 거잖아.

Al: But I don’t even have a fishing license.I‘d better call him and back out of it.

앨: 한데 난 낚시 허가증도 없어. 지금 전화해서 없던 일로 해야겠다.

Debbie: You can still buy a license today. He’s a good friend. Don‘t let him down.

데비: 허가증은 오늘이라도 살 수 있잖아. 친한 친군데 서운하게 하지 마.

Al: Okay. You’re right. I‘m sure I’ll have a good time.

앨: 그래. 당신 말이 맞아. 즐거운 시간이 될 거야.
