[오늘의 생활영어] out of town; 사는 곳을 벗어나

Mark is talking to his neighbor Randy.

Mark: Washing your car today?

Randy: Yes it's time. And I have a friend visiting from out of town this week.

Mark: From where?

Randy: From Seattle, Washington.

Mark: It rains a lot up there, doesn't it?

Randy: Yes it does. He's an old friend of mine. We go way back.

Mark: That's special to have a friend you've known for a long time.

Randy: It is. We met ages ago when we were college students.

Mark: Really?

Randy: Yes. And we've kept in touch all these years.
