Bill: Hi Kay! This is Bill.

빌: 안녕 케이! 나 빌이야.



Kay: Bill who?

케이: 빌 누구?

Bill: Bill Clinton. Who do you think it is?

빌: 빌 클린턴. 누구겠어?

Kay: You must be Bill Pillow.

케이: 빌 필로우구나.

Bill: Yeah, you're right. How are you doing?

빌: 그래 맞았어. 어떻게 지내?

Kay: Not too bad.

케이: 나쁘지 않아.

Bill: Great. Listen. Are you free tomorrow? Some friends are coming over.

빌: 잘됐네. 저기 내일 시간 있어? 친구들 몇명이 놀러오는데.

Kay: Sorry, I'm actually tied up all week.

케이: 미안해, 나 일주일 내내 바빠서.

Bill: That's too bad. Call me if you change your plans.

빌: 안됐네. 계획이 바뀌면 전화해.

Kay: I'm in the middle of something but I'll try.

케이: 뭐 하느라 바쁜데 노력해볼게.

기억할만한 표현

* come over: 들르다 놀러오다

"We went over to their house last weekend." (우리는 지난 주말 그 집에 놀러갔습니다.)

* (one) is tied up: 바쁘다

"I'm tied up at the moment but I'll call you when I'm finished." (지금은 바쁘지만 끝나면 전화해드리겠습니다.)

* (one) is in the middle of (something): ~하느라고 바쁘다

"He's working late because he's in the middle of a project."

(그는 프로젝트 때문에 늦게까지 일하는 중입니다.)
