(켄이 승강기를 타는 마이크를 보고…)

Ken: Hey Mike hold the elevator.

켄: 어이 마이크 승강기 좀 세워줘.

Mike: You're a hard guy to get a hold of.

마이크: 너 왜 이렇게 보기 힘들어.

Ken: I'm a busy man.

켄: 나 바빠.

Mike: I'm going to New York and Sarah told me you know that city inside and out.

마이크: 나 뉴욕에 가는데 새라 말이 네가 뉴욕을 손바닥 보듯 잘 안다던데.

Ken: I do. I go there every chance I get.

켄: 그렇지. 기회만 되면 가니까.

Mike: I need to know some really good restaurants.

마이크: 정말 괜찮은 식당들을 좀 알고 싶은데.

Ken: How long will you be there?

켄: 뉴욕에 얼마나 있을 건데?

Mike: All week.

마이크: 한 주 내내.

Ken: I'll make a list of some good out of the way places.

켄: 정말 특이한 식당 몇 곳을 적어줄게.

Mike: Thanks. I knew I could depend on you.

마이크: 고마워. 네가 도움이 될 줄 알았어.

▶get a hold of (someone): (누구와) 이야기를 하다, 연락이 되다.
"I got a hold of David and told him about the meeting tomorrow."
(데이빗하고 연락이 돼서 내일 모임 얘기해줬어.)

▶every chance I get: 기회 있을 때마다.
"I visit my mother every chance I get."
(난 기회가 될 때마다 어머니를 찾아 봬.)

▶out of the way: 진기한, 외딴.
"I like to discover good out of the way places."
(난 아주 특이한 곳 찾아내는 걸 좋아해.)
