On August 9th during a cool Tuesday afternoon the Los Alamitos High School ASB Cabinet set forth to attend the 51st annual OCL (Orange County Leadership) camp at UC Santa Barbara. Over the course of four days approximately 1500 ASB students from all over Orange County grouped by school competed in volleyball miscellaneous games and t-shirt designs.

During the camp there were several workshops in which students were able to hear speakers and instructors discuss different topics in order to increase school spirit within schools.

The camp also focused on establishing a greater sense of team unity. Each ASB group created their own team chants and approached other schools' ASB Cabinets with a competitive spirit. There were also nightly themed dance-parties to create a fun atmosphere for students to bond.
