Mobilizing a team of volunteers, the church launched immediate relief efforts to help residents rebuild their homes and return to daily life. Church officials say the initiative was intended to provide both comfort and practical support to those who lost their livelihoods in the flooding.

The initiative is being recognized as a demonstration of the church fulfilling its role as the "light and salt" of the local community.
