FirstHabit Unveils Official Product CHALK 4.0 at CES 2026

From a Math Tutoring Service to an AI Platform Delivering Real-Time Conversational Lectures Across All Subjects

AI-powered education innovator FirstHabit(formerly Seomjae) announced that it will officially unveil its next-generation learning platform, CHALK 4.0, at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Unlike previous showcases that were limited to prototypes and single-subject services, CHALK 4.0 marks the company’s first complete platform release, evolving from a service into a fully developed product.

FirstHabit has never launched a commercial product to the market. Instead, the company has chosen CES as the stage to demonstrate the step-by-step evolution of its technology, preparing the foundation for the future of education.
 
At CES 2025, FirstHabit won the prestigious Innovation Award with CoachON 2.0, a personalized learning management solution that analyzed student learning data and designed optimized study paths. However, CoachON 2.0 was limited to math-focused AI tutoring services.
 
Later that year, at CES 2025, the company briefly showcased CHALK 3.0 as a prototype. This version focused on text-based problem-solving and explanations. While it was not a commercial product, the demo highlighted the potential of AI tutors communicating directly with students, gaining significant attention.
 

Now, at CES 2026, FirstHabit will unveil CHALK 4.0 as its first official product release. Unlike its predecessors, CHALK 4.0 is not just an upgrade—it represents a leap from a math tutoring service into a comprehensive platform covering all subjects, including STEM.
 
The defining feature of CHALK 4.0 is the Conversational Lecture experience. Students will no longer receive explanations only through text; instead, they will interact in real time with an AI instructor embodied as a 3D animated character. This AI tutor moves like a real person and can convey non-verbal cues such as facial expressions, gestures, and eye contact, creating a far more immersive and engaging learning experience.
 
Most importantly, CHALK 4.0 has expanded from a math-only service to a full-scale platform that covers STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and beyond. It is designed not only to solve problems but also to connect concepts across subjects, provide personalized curricula, and manage the entire learning journey for each student.
