Dr. Shin Ji Yeoun of Korea Hev Dermatology Clinic Delivers Invited Lectures at the 19th Ramathibodi Annual Symposium of Plastic Surgery in Thailand

Dr. Shin Ji Yeoun, representative dermatologist of Korea Hev Dermatology Clinic, was invited as a speaker at the 19th Ramathibodi Annual Symposium of Plastic Surgery 2025 held in Bangkok, Thailand, where she delivered two lectures on advanced Korean aesthetic techniques.

The symposium took place on August 25–26 at the Pullman Hotel Bangkok, organized by the Thai Society of Plastic Surgery. Thailand, recognized as the largest aesthetic plastic surgery market in Southeast Asia, has shown rapid growth and increasing interest in innovative Korean procedures, often referred to as “K-aesthetic.”
 
During the conference, dermatologist Shin Ji Yeoun presented two key lectures. The first focused on combined treatments using filler and biostimulator for perioral wrinkles. Fillers are used to instantly restore lost facial volume, while biostimulators promote collagen regeneration to improve elasticity and provide long-term skin rejuvenation. By integrating these two approaches, comprehensive improvements can be achieved for deep folds such as nasolabial and marionette lines, resulting in natural and non-artificial outcomes.
 
The second lecture focused on post-surgical scar treatments, including Korean skin boosters and EBD (Energy-Based Devices). Skin boosters, which deliver various regenerative and collagen-stimulating ingredients directly into the skin, are recognized as highly effective procedures for scar treatment. Combined with EBD, scar management can be carried out even more effectively. Dr. Shin also shared her clinical experiences with various Korean scar treatment devices such as Mirajet, Potenza, and Curejet.
