Fittrix Inc. (“Fittrix”) today announced the activation of a joint intellectual property (IP) barrier developed with Hyundai Motor Co.

Anchored by two registered joint U.S. patents, the barrier formalizes the end-to-end data flow and user experience across body-information management, personalized services and simulation, aligning directly with Fittrix’s operating model in the field.

The joint-filing structure among Hyundai Motor, Kia and Fittrix reflects an ongoing strategy to co-own rights to technologies that map to Fittrix’s current service operations, ensuring patented innovations translate to real-world deployment. In parallel, Fittrix is broadening international coverage—progressing rights expansion in Japan, China and Europe—with a portfolio spanning AI-based motion recognition, risk prediction, personalized service delivery and data utilization. These efforts form a core pillar of the company’s roadmap toward a global physical-data hub.

“As the first digital health care spin-off from Hyundai Motor Group, we are executing an IP strategy that scales with our global service expansion,” a Fittrix spokesperson said. “Through our joint-patent framework with Hyundai Motor, we aim to tighten regional protection and deliver a consistent, trusted user experience worldwide.”

According to the company, Fittrix has initiated its global IP program with two registered U.S. patents, alongside additional registrations in Korea and China, publication in Japan and phased filings in Europe. The broader estate currently includes 13 technology patents, 45 trademark and design registrations, and PCT applications, establishing a virtuous cycle between IP and business operations.

Fittrix has also deployed a dedicated “Fittrix Wellness Zone” (approximately 430 square meters) at Hyundai Motor Group’s headquarters and R&D center. Built on the company’s patented technologies, the site standardizes an unmanned, data-driven operating model. This end-to-end integration—from product to service to operations—functions as a multi-layered IP defense, deterring imitation and reducing dispute risk across markets.
