The exhibition offers a comprehensive look at the latest trends and innovative technologies in the food and confectionery industry, covering candies, snacks, additive-free products, organic foods, Halal-certified items, and advanced packaging technologies.

Although ISM Japan has a relatively short history in Asia, numerous K-food companies will form a Korea Pavilion to showcase the excellence of Korean gummy jellies, confectionery, and health functional foods to Asian consumers and global buyers.

Having dedicated years to the R&D and OEM manufacturing of gummy jellies, SDFOODS KOREA recently installed vegetarian plant-based pectin gummy production line from Germany. This investment enables the company to manufacture high-content, high-functional gummies that meet the most rigorous global standards.

At this exhibition, SDFOOD Co.,ltd plans to launch a new lineup of gummies and jellies that align with international "Clean Label" standards—utilizing Halal-certified, sugar-free, natural flavors, natural pigments, gluten-free, and Non-GMO ingredients.

Furthermore, the company will introduce innovative flavors and textures to global buyers, including Spicy Tteokbokki Jellies & Red ginseng Jelly Stick that capture the essence of Korean soul food, alongside various health-functional gummies.

Multiple meetings with major Japanese corporations and diverse local clients are already scheduled to discuss the development of healthy gummy products. SDFOOD is also preparing an extensive portfolio to secure new global partnerships.

A representative from the Overseas Sales Department of Daewoong and SDFOODS stated: "We have transitioned from the traditional starch gummy mold production method to a Polycarbonate Starchless gummy mold production system. This new approach ensures top-tier hygiene management and prevents cross-contamination." The company is also in the process of adding HACCP, GMP, and FSSC 22000 certifications to its existing global food standard credentials.

Notably, SDFOOD Korea recently became the first in Korea to obtain a European Plant Registration Number, allowing for the export of gummy jellies to Europe, thereby accelerating its entry into the European market. The company’s exclusive Halal gummy production line—the only one of its kind in Korea is expected to be a powerful source for differentiation in the global market.
