Choi Junghun, the Founder and Vice Chairman of YIDO an integrated infrastructure asset management company focused on AI-enabling infrastructure such as renewable energy, BESS, data centers, and SOC core infrastructure, has been named one of the Top 10 most influential figures in Asian golf for the fourth consecutive year.

Vice Chairman Choi was once again selected for The Most Powerful People in the Asian Golf Industry Top 10 list announced by Golf Inc., a leading U.S. golf publication. Among those selected, he is the youngest executive.

He was recognized for his contributions to expanding the golf industry’s base and nurturing the next generation of talent. His achievements include broadening professional golf course operations through venues such as CLUBD The Players, launching and advancing the junior development program “CLUBD Dream Team”, and hosting the major amateur tournament CLUBD Amateur Eco Championship.

His father, Chairman Choi Dungkyu, ranked No. 2 this year, up from last year, in recognition of his efforts to elevate the profile of the Korean golf industry.

His contributions include hosting the global event Seowon Valley Charity Green Concert and operating major amateur tournaments. With both father and son named to the list for four consecutive years, they have continued the industry’s first and only record of simultaneous father-son recognition on the Power People list.

Under the CLUBD brand, YIDO owns and operates a total of 72 holes across three golf courses: CLUBD Players (27 holes), CLUBD Boeun (18 holes), and CLUBD Geochang (27 holes).

In 2022, YIDO launched the “CLUBD Dream Team,” a program designed to foster junior golfers and expand the golf base. The program has produced 550 graduates to date, and the number is expected to increase to 670 by 2026. Among the graduates, many have advanced to become national representatives, national reserve team members, and junior reserve team members.

Golf legend Park Seri has been actively participating in social contribution activities by providing mentorship, lessons, and game-based coaching to young players.

Beginning in 2026, Park Inbee will also join the program to further strengthen its global competitiveness and professional guidance.

Golf Inc. is widely regarded as one of the top three golf media outlets in the United States, alongside Golf Digest and Golf Magazine.

Since 1998, it has published its list of the most influential figures in the golf industry. This year, four Koreans were included in the Top 10 of Asia’s Golf Power People.
