Major domestic institutional investors, including NH Investment & Securities and IBK Securities, participated in the capital increase, recognizing Bonsystems’ technological capabilities and growth potential. The company plans to allocate the newly secured funds to expanding manufacturing facilities for robot reducers and actuators, advancing R&D for next-generation robot drive modules, and establishing a global-standard mass production system.

Bonsystems plans to complete the introduction of related manufacturing facilities by the end of this year and gradually expand its mass production base for its reducer and robot actuator product lines. Through these efforts, the company aims to strengthen its core drive component business, which is essential to next-generation robot markets such as humanoid robots, collaborative robots, and service robots, all of which are experiencing rapid growth.

Bonsystems’ core competitiveness lies in its proprietary cycloidal gear profile design, which enables thin, high-torque robot joints. The company has developed its own pinless cycloidal gear profile design, which dramatically simplifies the internal power transmission structure by eliminating roller pins. Based on this design, Bonsystems has independently developed thin cycloidal reducers (BSR 070 and 080 models) and robot actuators (BCSA series), drawing attention from across the industry.

While maintaining the advantages of conventional cycloidal drive mechanisms, Bonsystems’ pinless structure reduces the number of parts and simplifies the internal configuration. This allows the company’s products to meet the key requirements for robot drive components, including compact design, lightweight structure, and high durability.

Bonsystems is currently expanding its market presence at a rapid pace through active product supply and technical collaborations with leading robot and automation companies in Korea and overseas. With this investment as a key milestone, the company plans to maximize production capabilities across its high-value-added product lineup, spanning reducers, micro actuators, smart robot actuators, and robot modules. Bonsystems also intends to transform its business structure from one centered on R&D to one focused on mass production.

“This fundraising will serve as a major turning point for Bonsystems as we establish a full-scale mass production foundation and move toward becoming a leading player in the next-generation robot actuator market,” a Bonsystems official said. “We will actively respond to the needs of customers in Korea and abroad by securing the high levels of quality, reliability, and mass production capabilities required by the global market.”
