Cleanup Systems Signs Long-Term Supply Agreement with Dubai’s Interworld, Accelerating Middle East Exports

KRW 600 Million Initial Shipment Planned for July, Targeting KRW 5 Billion in Exports // Partnership Covers Local Distribution, Maintenance and Re-exports of Retired IT Equipment and Payment Devices

Cleanup Systems Co., Ltd., a Korean company specializing in the acquisition and export of retired IT assets from businesses and public institutions, has signed a long-term supply agreement with Dubai-based Interworld General Trading (“Interworld”), marking a major step in its expansion into the Middle Eastern market.
 
On May 27, 2026, Cleanup Systems and Interworld signed a three-party memorandum of understanding and commercial agreement for the export and distribution of retired IT equipment at Interworld’s headquarters in Dubai. Representatives from both companies and SEPTACORE INTERNATIONAL (“Septacore”) attended the signing ceremony.
 
The agreement goes beyond a conventional memorandum focused on market research or business exchanges. It establishes a long-term partnership based on recurring product supply and local distribution.
 
Products covered by the agreement include pre-owned desktop computers, laptops, monitors, servers, networking equipment, point-of-sale systems and payment devices. The companies plan to expand the range and volume of products supplied in line with market demand and business performance.
 
Cleanup Systems will acquire and collect retired IT assets from Korean companies and institutions before inspecting, grading, securely erasing data, refurbishing and preparing the equipment for export.
 

Interworld will handle import clearance, storage, buyer development, local distribution and sales, installation, and maintenance in Dubai.
 
The agreement also establishes a framework for products to be sold within the UAE or re-exported to other Middle Eastern and neighboring markets, including Pakistan through Septacore, a party to the three-way partnership.
 
The companies plan to utilize Interworld’s local office, warehousing and logistics facilities, distribution network, customs clearance capabilities, and repair and maintenance infrastructure to provide an integrated system covering product supply through after-sales service.
 
Based on the long-term agreement, Cleanup Systems plans to proceed with an initial export shipment valued at approximately KRW 600 million in July 2026. Through regular and continuing supply, the company aims to generate approximately KRW 5 billion in exports.
 
The initiative is also notable as a resource-circulation export model. Rather than simply disposing of IT equipment that has reached the end of its use in Korea, Cleanup Systems verifies its data security and reusability before supplying qualified equipment to overseas markets.

Cleanup Systems operates an integrated service system covering the acquisition and collection of retired IT assets, inspection, certified data erasure, product preparation and export.
 
The company uses the Blancco E800 data erasure solution to securely remove information stored on data-bearing devices. Storage media unsuitable for reuse undergo physical security processing, including drilling and shredding.
 
This approach reduces the risk of sensitive data leakage while extending the service life of reusable equipment and minimizing electronic waste.
 
Cleanup Systems is also strengthening its quality and environmental management systems across asset collection, data processing, inspection and export, supported by its ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certifications.
 
“We plan to establish Dubai as a strategic base for our expansion into the Middle Eastern market and steadily increase both our export volume and the number of countries we serve,” said Kim Soo-young, CEO of Cleanup Systems.
 
“We will create new value from retired IT assets generated by Korean companies and institutions while strengthening our global IT asset circular economy business by combining data security with resource circulation,” Kim added.
 
Through its long-term supply agreement with Interworld, Cleanup Systems plans to expand its export performance across the Middle East, secure stable overseas sales channels for Korea’s retired IT assets and further diversify its global distribution network.
