Veterans Edu Opens Fall Live SAT Classes in U.S. Weekend Hours

Veterans Edu, a Seoul-based admissions-prep institution founded in 2011 that runs SAT, AP and TOEFL programs together with U.S. college admissions and Korea's special admissions track (특례) for overseas Korean and international-school students, has opened its fall live online SAT term for students across the Americas, running Aug. 23 through Dec. 6. The term targets Korean students who stay in the United States during the school year, when SAT work often lapses between summer and winter visits to Korea.

■ A class slot that reads clearly from the U.S.
Classes meet every Sunday morning, Korea time — a slot that lands in weekend afternoon and evening hours for students in U.S. time zones. Sections are placed by score band — 500–590, 600–670, and 680 and above. Math, AP and other subjects for the Americas cohort follow their own separate schedules in the fall term.
 
"For students in the States, the barrier has rarely been the material — it has been the clock," a senior manager at Veterans Edu said. "Anchoring the class to one weekly slot inside U.S. weekend hours takes that question off the table."
 
■ One course, two languages of instruction
The two lower score bands each run in both an English-only and a Korean-English track sharing the same materials on the same calendar, while the top band runs English-only. "Language comfort decides the section, not the course," the manager said. "An English-dominant student and a Korean-dominant student work through the same test on the same week."
 

Homework checks, wrong-answer review and parent reports apply to the live online sections just as they do in person, and placement follows a diagnostic taken before the term begins. Veterans Edu reports 1,538 students scoring 1500 or above on the SAT as of July 2026, a figure it publishes with its reference date.
 
A fixed weekly slot that reads clearly in a U.S. time zone is emerging as a baseline check for families comparing live online SAT programs from Korea. The opening session is Aug. 23.
