The move is part of the company's broader initiative to expand the global export of finished gummy products by combining the convenience of gummy formats with functional health benefits.
Held across six halls at the QSNCC exhibition center in Bangkok, Thailand, Vitafoods Asia 2026 served as a premier global platform where leading domestic and international companies specializing in food ingredients and functional health products showcased their latest technologies and innovations to consumers worldwide.
To address the hot and humid climate of Southeast Asia, SDfoods introduced its plant-based vegan pectin gummies. The company highlighted these tailored functional jellies as a superior alternative to conventional gelatin-based gummies, noting that they are less prone to melting and offer enhanced distribution stability.
Key products that drew massive attention on-site included collagen gummies for skin beauty, plant-based melatonin gummies for sleep support, postbiotic gummies for gut health, apple cider vinegar (ACV) gummies, and biotin gummies for hair and nail strengthening, alongside sugar-free jellies and protein chocolate balls.
In addition, aligning with the religious Halal culture prevalent across Southeast Asia, SD Foods showcased vegetarian-friendly gummies and chocolate balls free of animal-derived gelatin, successfully generating high interest and favorable responses from local buyers.
An SDFOOD Korea gummy manufacturer’s representative emphasized, "As Vitafoods Asia 2027 will rotate to Malaysia next year, we are taking proactive steps to achieve deeper penetration into overseas markets. We have already secured a high-quality standalone booth with enhanced buyer accessibility, and we will continue striving to strengthen our promotional reach across the Asia-Pacific region."
