'Clean CA' 초중고생 아트 공모전 접수..수상작에 상금 수여
Clean California 프로그램이 주도하는 주 전역의 멀티미디어 공모전이 3월 24일(월)까지 초중고 학생을 대상으로 참가 신청을 받고 있다. 이 공모전에서는 학생들이 쓰레기가 캘리포니아 지역사회에 미치는 영향을 설명하는 30초짜리 동영상 또는 8.5인치 x 14인치(또는 그 이하) 크기의 손수 만든 포스터를 제작하도록 요구한다. 학생들은 Clean California 이니셔티브의 슬로건인 “쓰레기 한 조각이 [ ]를 망칠 수 있습니다”를 사용하여 역사적인 건물 앞의 물병이나 커뮤니티 정원의 패스트푸드 봉지 등 쓰레기 한 조각이 어떻게 그림을 망치는지 묘사한 동영상 또는 포스터를 제출할 수 있다. 학생들이 창의력을 발휘하여 응모할 것을 권장한다. 3~12학년 학생들은 (500단어 이내의) 사용된 자료와 학교 및 지역사회에서 쓰레기를 줄이기 위한 추가 아이디어가 포함된 프로젝트 요약문을 제출해야 한다. 다음 학년 그룹에서 각각 한 명의 우승자를 선정한다: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12. 각 우승자에게는 $500의 기프트 카드가 수여된다. 4~11학년 STEM 동영상 대회…KSEA 주최, 초중고생 대상
재미한인과학기술자협회(KSEA)가 초·중·고교생 대상 과학·기술·공학·수학(STEM) 동영상 경진대회를 개최한다. 청소년들이 STEM 관련 동영상을 스스로 제작해 해당 분야에서 미래 직업의 가능성을 구현해보도록 하고자 하는 취지다. 참가 대상은 4~11학년 학생들로, ‘향후 50년의 과학, 기술, 공학’을 주제로 짧은 동영상을 제작해 이달 30일까지 링크(shorturl.at/cFN12)를 통해 제출하면 된다. 단 동영상 제작 시 저작권을 위반했을 때엔 수상이 취소될 수 있어 주의해야 한다. 동영상 길이는 학생당 최대 2분 까지다. 심사는 학년별로 4개 그룹으로 나뉘어 진행되며 1등(각 그룹당 1명)은 300달러, 2등(각 그룹당 1명) 200달러, 3등(각 그룹당 2명)은 100달러의 상금을 받게 된다. 이외에 경품행사를 통해 당첨된 참가자 100명에게는 25달러 상당의 아마존 카드를 제공한다. 8~11학년 참가자 중 1등으로 선정된 학생들은 오는 8월 워싱턴DC 인근에서 개최 예정인 청소년과학기술캠프(YSTLC 2022)에 초청돼 등록비를 30% 할인 받고 참여할 수 있다. 수상자는 6월 10일 발표된다. ▶문의: 남창수 박사([email protected]) 김은별 기자초중고생 동영상 동영상 경진대회 동영상 제작 주최 초중고생
